KLND Community Radio - Little Eagle, SD
KLND is a community, non commercial Native American radio station that primarily serves the Standing Rock and Cheyenne River Nations in south central North Dakota and north central South Dakota. It operates on the FM band at 89.5 with 100,000 watts effective radiated power. Besides their programming content, their web site has some great content: powwow schedules, powwow pictures (and narratives), Indian humor, powwow calendar (including those they will broadcast), and things of interest.
Native America Calling is a live call-in program, linking public radio stations, the Internet and listeners together into a thought-provoking national conversation about issues specific to Native American communities.
