Product Details
Flat powder horns were popular in the old days. They're just right for weekend hunts as they are readily carried in your hunting shirt or possibles bag. The horn's hardwood base plug is brass pinned and glued, and a neck groove secures a thong for the stopper.
No two horns are the same and may vary slightly in coloration, size, and shape.

Very disappointed in what I received. They could never be carried in a pocket per the description . The three I received are about 12 inches long and roughly shaped into an oval, definitely not a flat horn as depicted. They are nothing more than a conventional horn slightly smashed into a crude oval shape. The plugs are crudely done with a great deal of wood filler plugging gaps. One of the horns I received folded up when they compressed it leaving a long crease down one side. Sorry Crazy Crow , these things are absolute junk, not even worth the $11 and change I paid for each one. They don’t even rate one star.

I bought this planning to use it as a priming horn, but it's longer than I expected. I will go back to plan A and make a second priming horn from a buffalo horn I have. But this might make a good backup horn to keep in the possibles bag.
